I wrote this tune in 2004 for a CD that I recorded with Nick Ludington called Listening Post. Nick is on guitar, Jim Lyden on Bass, Tyler Wood on Piano, and I'm on Drums.

The van Voorst Jazz Quartet's version of the wonderful song, Don't Misunderstand, recorded live in my living room on December 27th 2019.

I would describe this as Ska/Punk. The organ plays the melody and there are vocals on the chorus. I play the drums and all other instruments are played on my midi keyboard and Yamaha Motif 6. I'm using Ableton Live 10.

I might record this with a live group at some point.
